M14’s founder, John Kershaw, joins the Online Dating Association board of directors

We’re excited to announce that M14 Industries Founder and CEO, John Kershaw, has joined the ODA (Online Dating Association) Board. Also joining the board is Commercial Director of Muddy Matches, Lee Nutter.

Chairman of the ODA, Duncan Cunningham, had this to say regarding the new additions to the Board;

“On behalf of my colleagues I would very much like to welcome John and Lee to the ODA board.  The world of digital dating is continually evolving and the Association needs to keep pace with this by working with our members to help them develop their businesses, while dealing with new challenges that we face. These appointments enhance the breadth and depth of the board and the expertise and knowledge that John and Lee bring will strengthen the Association as we move forward.”

M14 Industries joined the ODA as a member organisation earlier this year.

We want to hold the dating industry to the high standards that our users have come to expect. Online dating isn’t just a niche anymore, it’s a global industry with millions of customers worldwide.

Like any industry with a high volume of customers, there are risks involved. From fraud to cat-fishing, the dating industry has come under fire many times.

Our mission as a company is to provide people with the technology to build their own online dating/social apps. In turn, we ensure the users of those apps are provided with security. It’s why we’ve held our Partners to the standards of the ODA long before we became official members.

As an active part of the ODA we can be at the forefront of this movement within our industry. M14 Industries can not only ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for our own users, but we can bring our expertise and experience within to the table.
